London’s Portrait Gallery, 2007 Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition
November 1, 2007 by Chad Hunt
I just learned that one of my photographs of U.S. solidiers taken in Afghanistan
last year has been selected to appear in the “2007 Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition at London’s Portrait Gallery”
The photograph chosen is of PFC Heather Ragan, 19, from Oklahoma City, OK. It was taken during my first trip to Kamdesh, Afghanistan last fall.
The show is on from November 8th to February 24th, before going on tour. If your travels take you to London during that time, I hope you’ll have a chance to see it.
“you can purchase the book here:”

My work can now be purchased through ClampArt Gallery.

Exciting news. Two of my photographs are hanging in Clampart, one of the best photography galleries in Chelsea. They represent an amazing collection of artists (like Brian Finke and Jill Greenburg) and I’m honored to be included in the mix. To see some of my work there, check out their website here.

Nate Bozman at home with his fiance’ Kristen. Nate is with the 10th Mtn. Division, 3 Squadron, 71st Cavalry.
He will be returning to Afghanistan next August.

Portrait I made when we met in Afghanistan in September 2006
I have this idea to photograph these guys as they “ghost” back into the real world. Needless to say, I have made a few good friends along the way.
