Your photography is a wonderful tribute to those who have and are serving – half a world away. You have helped the public get an idea of the rough terrain and the toll of the war on our soldiers.
Our son was proud to serve with the 1-32 Infantry in the Korengal Valley. He was injured there and missed your visit by a couple of months. He has told us that your pictures are very realistic.
Thank you for putting yourself in harms way to bring these pictures and the story of the almost forgotten war in Afghanistan home. God be with you.
