The Men’s Journal Story is out now, “The Taliban Hunters”, March issue.
It was written by Joshua Hammer.

They only ran 4 images but I am pretty happy with the story and layout.

I have also been receiving TONS of email from friends and family of soldiers in Afghanistan, like this one:
‚ÄúSeeing my husbands face for the first time since August 11 (but who is counting) has made my, and my children’s day. With the recent extension this one photo of my husband means the world to me.‚Äù

I can’t begin to explain how this experience has changed me.
One of the strongest memories I have of the trip was when I took this picture.
We were taking cover as we called in mortars and artillery on a enemy position on the side of the mountain.
I felt like the stars were going to drip out of the sky they were so bright.
I am in the process of trying to find a gallery to show the work. Hopefully something will work out.

These two images were selected to be part of a group gallery show in Brooklyn February 24-March 4 called: “LOOK SEE :: photographs on reflection.”It will be held at the Brooklyn Artists Gym Gallery located at 168 7th Street, 3rd Floor, Brooklyn, NY. My guests and I are invited to the opening on February 24, 6:00-9:00 pm.
