to kill a bit of time this afternoon i went with Debbie to buy some DVD’s. They are all bootlegged and brought in through Pakistan. Season one of “ROME” cost us about 5 american dollars.
the beggers in the street here really tug at my heartstrings…

This little fella looks very well dressed, well fed and healthy. So I wonder if things are quite what they seem.
Presumably you’ve seen a lot worse?
I certainly have in the subcontintent.
And that is surely heart-rending.
